They're finally here!!! (it's cherry szn!)

Spring is FINALLY here in Korea, which means warmer weather and cherry blossoms. !!!!! !!!!

One of the many reasons why I chose to study in East Asia was because of the cherry blossoms. It's been a dream of mine to see them in person and Korea heavily celebrates their annual arrival. There are so many festivals and sakura-infused foods that pop up around the country. These pretty little pink gems can also be found in China, Taiwan, and (of course) Japan.

This morning my friends and I traveled to Jamsil - one of the many places to see cherry blossoms - to walk through the trees and take part in this cultural celebration.

despite the gloomy weather, we had such a happy day.

life is so pretty (especially in pink).
