We ate at a Michelin restaurant ?! ?

Updated: Mar 17, 2019

We spent the day walking through Myeongdong, the mecca of Korean skincare and cosmetics and reason why I can no longer feel my legs.

Along one of the many streets of Myeongdong we stumbled upon this seemingly quaint noodle shop. The three Michelin awards plastered on the front window is what drew us inside. What we thought was a small place turned out to be a three-story restaurant jam-packed with customers.

A Google search told us that we were in the belly of Myeongdong Kyoja, a three-time recipient of the Michelin Bib Gourmand award (an award given to establishments that have good food at good prices). They're famous for their knife-cut, handmade kalguksu (noodle soup).

About $8.50 for a bowl.

We all thought it was good, except for Derek who claims, "it's not as good as Wagaya."

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
